Couples Therapy
Who I Treat
Couples Therapy
It is very common to have relationship problems. It’s important to acknowledge that seeking therapy does not mean failure. You might be seeking couples therapy due to disconnection and distance, infidelity, problems with sex, parenting, external problems or money issues. Whatever is going on, there is hope.
Couples therapy can help you and your partner achieve more intimacy in the relationship, strengthen attachment, increased skills, heal pain from past actions and resolve the conflicts that stand in the way.
It can be scary, awkward, intimidating or otherwise uncomfortable to come into therapy…
Whether you’ve been in therapy before or it’s your first time in therapy. You are being challenged to be vulnerable, talk about potential shameful/embarrassing topics and share deep pain or discomfort. But if you break it down, it’s just a conversation. You can share as much or as little as you want at first but eventually you might want to share more. People who get the most out of therapy share intimate details and get honest about their difficulties.
I work with couples of any age…
